Description
I had noticed that the pictures of the depression of 1929 looked so much more grim than pictures of today's "recession/depression" and I figured it was because things tend to look more grim in black and white than in color. So I took an old image from the '29 times and retouched it and added color and sure enough it looked less grim than before. I left the line of men in black and white for contrast on a number of levels. I do not know who took the original photo but I would like to give them credit for it.
